Bali Cutwork & Embroidery 

 Bali Cutwork is known as Kerwang in Bali it is a form of embroidered cutwork that is done on a loop by hand. It is an incredibly complex and detail-oriented process to create amazing embroideries that are multi-textural and dimensional. Originally a technique used to create Kabaya's or temple blouses Balinese women wear to make the daily offerings to the Gods. The technique is a beautiful and diverse craft rich in cultural heritage and meaning that has many possible applications.
